  The College of Health Sciences (CHS), an amalgamation of the various institutions within the University of Ghana that train health professionals, was the first College to be established by the University of Ghana in 1999. However, with the restructuring of the entire University under the collegiate system has led to the college having the following institutions: 1. School of Biomedical and Allied Health Sciences 2. School of Medicine and Dentistry 3. School of Nursing and Midwifery 4. School of Public Health 5. School of Pharmacy 6. Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research
